Sandra is from northern Minnesota, but has called the Middle East her home for more than a decade.
She studied literature at Middlebury College, received her MBA from Northwestern University, and is currently a duel nonfiction and fiction MFA candidate at Bennington College.
When she’s writing, Sandra explores themes of truth, identity, and belonging.
When she’s not, she can be found turning paint into art, running next to camels, or daydreaming about her next adventure.
